21.289—Major repairs, rebuilding and alteration.
For types covered by a delegation option authorization, a manufacturer may—
(a)
After finding that a major repair or major alteration meets the applicable airworthiness requirements of this chapter, approve that repair or alteration; and
(b)
Authorize any employee to execute and sign FAA Form 337 and make required log book entries if that employee—
