250.72—Filing of statements pursuant to section 17(a).
(a)
The filing of initial statements of beneficial ownership of securities and statements of changes in such beneficial ownership, as prescribed under section 16(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, shall satisfy the corresponding requirements of section 17(a) of the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935.
(b)
The rules under section 16 (a) and (b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, including any rules which exempt a transaction from the duties or liabilities of section 16 (a) or (b), shall apply to any duty or liability imposed with respect to a transaction involving any security of a registered holding company or subsidiary thereof under section 17 (a) or (b) of the Act.
