906.10—State regulatory program approval.
The Colorado State program as submitted on February 29, 1980, and amended and clarified on June 11, 1980, was conditionally approved, effective December 15, 1980. Beginning on that date, the Colorado Department of Natural Resources was deemed the regulatory authority in Colorado for surface coal mining and reclamation operations and for coal exploration operations on non-Federal and non-Indian lands.
