On June 9, 1973, this unidentified child was pushed in front of a moving vehicle in St Petersburg, Florida, and died at the scene. The decedent was estimated to be between 14 and 17 years of age. She was new to the area, and was believed to have been a runaway from an unknown location. The child had dark auburn hair and distinctive blue eyes. Her ears were pierced but the hole on her right earlobe had closed up so she wore a pair of earrings on her left earlobe. Her front tooth was chipped, but it is not clear whether the chip was present prior to her death or if she sustained that injury during the accident. Please review both images. She has used several names such as Janice Marie Brock, Marie, Maria and Cindy. Most knew her as Marie. She is also believed to have friends or family in Virginia and possibly either North or South Carolina.
