Sec. 06.60.097. - Surrender of license.

(a) A licensee may surrender a license issued to the licensee by delivering written notice to the department that the licensee intends to surrender the license, except that a mortgage licensee may not surrender a license until all loans of that mortgage licensee have either been paid in full or sold.

(b) A licensee shall surrender a license issued to the licensee if the licensee has not engaged in mortgage loan activity for 12 consecutive months.

(c) Surrender of a license under this section does not affect the licensee's civil or criminal liability for acts committed before surrender of the license.
