35-196.01. Expenditure of state monies for certain purposes A. A budget unit shall not spend any appropriated monies for either of the following unless monies are appropriated for the specific purpose: 1. Transportation or other travel expenses necessary for bringing any person into this state who is not a resident of this state for an interview for prospective employment. 2. Transportation or moving expenses for any person newly employed or retained. B. A budget unit may spend monies to reimburse current employees for reasonable relocation expenses related to management initiated geographical reassignments of more than fifty miles from an employee's current work site pursuant to rules adopted by the director of the department of administration. |
