27-72-401. Definition.
As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires, "state aid streets" means those streets or state highways determined to be on the Federal-Aid Urban System as defined in the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1973 and any other public streets jointly selected by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department and responsible municipal officials as determined by the governing body. System mileage and modification will be in accordance with federal directives or concurrent state and municipal action.
