      Sec. 10-375. Legislative members of the Education Commission of the States. The legislative members of the Education Commission of the States representing this state shall be appointed as follows: Two members of the Senate, one of whom shall be appointed by the president pro tempore of the Senate and one of whom shall be appointed by the minority leader of the Senate, and two members of the House of Representatives, one of whom shall be appointed by the speaker of the House of Representatives and one of whom shall be appointed by the minority leader of the House of Representatives.

      History: P.A. 93-353 deleted language establishing a Connecticut Education Council composed of the members of the Education Commission of the States representing this state and expanded the legislative membership of the Commission representing this state by adding representatives appointed by the minority leaders.
