      Sec. 11-9. Appropriations to the Connecticut Historical Society. The Connecticut Historical Society shall fund its operations through federal, state and private funds, to the extent that they are available. The Comptroller is authorized to draw his order upon the Treasurer in equal quarterly installments in favor of the treasurer of the society in such sums as may be appropriated for programs and purposes of the society which are intended for the use and benefit of the public.
