      Sec. 2-40a. Disclosure of performance evaluations of judges. Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (b) of section 1-210 and chapter 55, any performance evaluation of any judge made by the Judicial Department shall be made available to the members of the joint standing committee on judiciary prior to any public hearing on the nomination of any such judge and to the members of the Judicial Selection Commission in the performance of their duties as set forth in section 51-44a. Any information disclosed to such members shall be used by such members only for the purpose for which it was given and shall not be disclosed to any other person.
