      Sec. 22a-134n. Grants for chemical disposal days. (a) The Commissioner of Environmental Protection may, within available appropriations, make a grant to any municipality, any group of municipalities, any regional planning agency organized under the provisions of chapter 127, any regional council of elected officials organized under the provisions of chapter 50, or any regional council of government organized under the provisions of sections 4-124i to 4-124p, inclusive, sponsoring a chemical disposal day. The grant shall be not more than fifty per cent of the cost to the grantee of conducting such chemical disposal day. An application for a grant shall include a plan for a chemical disposal day which shall comply with any guidelines developed by the commissioner pursuant to section 22a-134m.

      (b) Any grantee under this section shall be eligible for additional grants, provided no grantee shall be eligible for more than two grants in any fiscal year.
