Sec. 31-349d. Treasurer to solicit proposals for the managing of Second Injury
Fund claims. Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 4a-19 and 4a-20 to the contrary, the Treasurer may solicit proposals from any firm engaged in the business of
workers' compensation medical case management for purposes of managing Second
Injury Fund claims or providing any other necessary service not provided by state employees.
