(65 ILCS 5/11‑16‑1) (from Ch. 24, par. 11‑16‑1) Sec. 11‑16‑1. The corporate authorities of each municipality may provide for and maintain a board of health, consisting of more than one person, and to prescribe its powers and duties, except where a municipality has adopted the provisions of Division 17.
