Proclamation
Sec. 1. The governor shall issue a proclamation each yeardesignating July 13 as "Northwest Ordinance Day" and exhorting theIndiana Historical Bureau, the educational, historic, and patrioticorganizations of Indiana, and the citizens of Indiana to celebrate theanniversary of the adoption of the Northwest Ordinance by holdingsuitable exercises in fitting and patriotic observance of this greatdocument and its contributions to freedom and democracy.
