28E.29 AMANA -- ADDITIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT.
If a tract of land is owned by a corporation organized under
chapter 491 with assets of the value of one million dollars or more
which has one or more platted villages located within the territorial
limits of the tract of land, all of the territory within the plats of
the villages with their additions or subdivisions, for the purposes
of this section, is deemed to be one incorporated city. The
corporation may assess and collect funds from its property owners for
the purpose of obtaining additional law enforcement services from the
county sheriff. The corporation may contract under this chapter with
the county sheriff for additional law enforcement services. Section History: Early Form
