459A.502 VIOLATIONS -- CIVIL PENALTY. A person who violates this chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty which shall be established, assessed, and collected in the same manner as provided in section 455B.191. Any civil penalty collected and interest on a civil penalty shall be deposited in the animal agriculture compliance fund created in section 459.401. A person shall not be subject to a penalty under this section and a penalty under section 459.603 for the same violation.
