80B.2 - INTENT.

        80B.2  INTENT.
         It is the intent of the legislature in creating the academy and
      the council to maximize training opportunities for law enforcement
      officers, to coordinate training and to set standards for the law
      enforcement service, all of which are imperative to upgrading law
      enforcement to professional status.
