218.52 - SUPPLIES -- COMPETITION.

        218.52  SUPPLIES -- COMPETITION.
         The administrator in control of a state institution shall, in the
      purchase of supplies, afford all reasonable opportunity for
      competition, and shall give preference to local dealers and Iowa
      producers when such can be done without loss to the state.
