        222.51  COSTS COLLECTED.
         Costs incident to the hearings and commitment of a person with
      mental retardation to an institution, a resource center, or a special
      unit may be collected from the person with mental retardation and
      from all persons legally chargeable with the support of the person
      with mental retardation.
