      21-4216.   Selling beverage containers with detachable tabs.(a) As used in this section:

      (1)   "Beverage container" means any sealed can containing beer, cerealmalt beverages, mineral waters, soda water and similar soft drinks so designatedby the director of alcoholic beveragecontrol, in liquid form and intended for human consumption.

      (2)   "In this state" means within the exterior limits of the state of Kansasand includes all territory within these limits owned by or ceded to theUnited States of America.

      (b)   No person shall sell or offer for sale at retail in this state anymetal beverage container so designed and constructed that a part of thecontainer is detachable in opening the container.

      (c)   Any person violating the provisions of subsection (b) shall be guiltyof a class C misdemeanor.
