22-4521. Same; meetings; officers; quorum;compensation and allowances.(a) At the first meeting of the state board of indigents' defense servicesand at the first meeting held each calendar year thereafter,the board shall elect a chairperson and a secretary from among its members.
(b) The board shall meet at least quarterly and at such other times ascalled by the chairperson. Meetings of the board shall be at such placesas the board determines.
(c) Five members of the board constitute a quorum for the transactionof business and the affirmative vote of five members of the board is requiredfor any action by the board.
(d) The members of the board shall receive compensation and travel expensesand subsistence expenses or allowances as provided in K.S.A. 75-3212.
