Article 2.--PRIMARY ELECTIONS

      25-216.   Challenging right to vote; affidavit.The right of any person to vote at any national, state, county andtownship primary election may be challenged by any elector upon the sameground and his right to vote be determined in the same manner as at anational, state, county and township general election, except as otherwiseprovided herein.

      If the person offering such person's vote ischallenged asunqualified on theground that the person is not a member of the party announcedbysuch person, the person shallmake and subscribe an affidavit in the following form, which shall bepresented to and retained by the election board, and returned by thesupervising judge with the poll list:

STATE OF KANSAS, COUNTY OF ________, ss.

      I, ______________, am a registered voter in thisjurisdiction andI am qualified to vote in this election. I am affiliated with the ________party; I havenot signed the petition of a member of any other party who is seeking anomination at this primary election; and I have not signed thenominating petition of an independent candidate for any office for whichcandidates are to be voted for at this primary election.

      I declare under penalty ofperjury that the foregoing is true and correct, this ____ day of__________,A.D.______.
