      25-4175.   Affidavit of intent by treasurer of party or political committeeto expend and receive less than $500 and not more than $50 from any onecontributor; filing; certain reports not required.For any calendar year during which a party or political committeeintends to expend an aggregate amount or value of less than $500 and intendsto receive contributions in an aggregateamount or value of less than $500 and duringwhich such party or political committee intends to receive nocontributions in excess of $50 from any one contributor,the treasurer of such party or political committee shall file anaffidavit of such intent with the secretary of stateif such committee is a party committee or a political committee whichexpressly advocates the nomination, election ordefeat of a clearly identified candidate for state office and with the countyelection officer if the committee is a political committee which expresslyadvocates the nomination, election or defeat of aclearly identified candidate for local office. Such treasurershall not be required to file the reports required by K.S.A. 25-4148, andamendments thereto for theyear for which such affidavitis filed. Such affidavit may be filed at any timenot later than the ninth day preceding the primary election.
