32-1009. Nongame species.Except as provided in rules and regulations adopted pursuant to K.S.A.32-963, and amendments thereto, it shall be unlawful for any person totake, possess, transport,export, process, sell or offer for sale or ship nongame species deemed by thesecretary to be in need of conservation pursuant to K.S.A. 32-959, andamendments thereto.Subject to the same exception, it shall further be unlawful for any commoncarrier knowingly to transport or receive for shipment nongamespeciesdeemed by the secretary to be in need of conservation pursuant to K.S.A.32-959, and amendments thereto.
