      34-259.   Warehouseman cannot set up title in himself.No title or right to the possession of the grain, on the part of thewarehouseman, unless such title or right is derived directly or indirectlyfrom a transfer made by the depositor or his transferee at the time of orsubsequent to the deposit for storage, or from the warehouseman's lien,shall excuse the warehouseman from liability for refusing to deliver thegrain according to the terms of the receipt.
