38-1723. Effect on existing custodianships.(a) Any transfer ofcustodial property as now defined in this act made before the effectivedate of this act is validated notwithstanding that there was no specificauthority in the Kansas uniform gifts to minors actfor the coverage of custodial property of that kind or for a transfer fromthat source at the time the transfer was made.
(b) This act applies to all transfers made before the effective dateof this act in a manner and form prescribed in the Kansas uniform gifts tominors act, except insofar as the application impairs constitutionallyvested rights or extends the duration of custodianships in existence on theeffective date of this act.
