Article 5.--DETENTION AND PARENTAL HOMES OR FARMS

      38-526.   Same; management; advisoryboard; compensation; salary of person in charge, how paid.The detention home or district farm shall be in charge of a person orpersons to be selected by the judge of the district court. The judge of thedistrict court shall appoint two (2) members of an advisory board and theboard of county commissioners by resolution shall appoint three (3) membersof said advisory board which shall consist of five (5) members who shall bepersons other than county commissioners and shall serve at the pleasure ofthe appointing authority. The advisory board shall consult with and advisethe person or persons in charge of the home or farm and judge of thedistrict court concerning the problems at the home or farm; and said judgemay delegate such supervisory powers as the judge maysee fit to the board, and the board is authorized to exercise the powers sodelegated. The members of such advisory board shall receive nocompensation. The salary of the person or persons in charge of the home orfarm shall be fixed by the judge of the district court and shall be payablefrom funds collected for the maintenance of such home or farm.
