Chapter 39.--MENTALLY ILL, INCAPACITATED AND DEPENDENT PERSONS; SOCIAL WELFARE Article 4.--HOSPITAL TREATMENT AND HOSPITALIZATION

      39-415.   Counties between 175,000 and 250,000; definitions.As used in this act: (a) The words "medically indigent" shall mean aperson who is unable to pay for hospitalization and who is not receivingor who is not eligible for medical assistance under K.S.A. 39-701 etseq., and amendments thereto, at the time of application forhospitalization hereunder.

      (b)   The word "hospitalization" shall mean the routine servicesordinarily rendered in a hospital as a hospital is defined in K.S.A.65-425 and licensed under K.S.A. 65-427.
