40-5114. Severability.(a) If any provision of this act is declared invalid due toaninterpretation of or a future change in the federal fair credit reporting act,the remaining portions of the act shall be deemed to be severable and shallremain in full force and effect.
(b) If any provision of this act or the application thereof to any person orcircumstance is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisionsor applications of the act which can be given effect without the invalidprovision or application, and to this end the provisions of this act areseverable.
