      41-2633a.   Violations of act by licensee or permit holder; civil fine.(a) In addition to or in lieu of any other civil or criminal penaltyprovided by law, the director, upon a finding that a licensee or temporarypermit holder under the club and drinking establishment act has violatedany provision thereof, may impose on such licensee or temporary permitholder a civil fine notexceeding $1,000 for each violation.

      (b)   No fine shall be imposed pursuant to this section except uponthe written order of the director to the licensee or temporary permitholder who committed theviolation. Such order shall state the violation, the fine to be imposedand the right of the licensee or temporary permit holder to appeal the order.Such order shall besubject to appeal andreview in the manner provided by K.S.A. 41-321, 41-322 and 41-323,and amendments thereto.

      (c)   Any fine imposed pursuant to this section shall be paid to thestate treasurer, who shall deposit the same in the state treasury andcredit it to the state general fund.
