      41-328.   Violations of act; civil penalties.(a) In addition to or in lieu of any other civil or criminal penaltyprovided by law, the director, upon a finding that a licensee under theKansas liquor control act has violated any provision thereof, may imposeon such licensee a civil fine not exceeding $1,000 for each violation.

      (b)   No fine shall be imposed pursuant to this section except uponthe written order of the director to the licensee who committed theviolation. Such order shall state the violation, the fine to be imposedand the right of the licensee to appeal the order. Such order shall besubject to appeal and review in the manner provided by K.S.A. 41-321, 41-322and 41-323, and amendments thereto.

      (c)   Any fine imposed pursuant to this section shall beremitted to thestate treasurer in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A.75-4215, andamendments thereto. Upon receipt of each such remittance, the statetreasurer shall deposit the entire amount in the statetreasury to the credit of the state general fund.

      (d)   This section shall be part of and supplemental to the Kansasliquor control act.
