42-326. Procurement of waters through like works of other proprietors. The proprietors of any ditch, conduit, reservoir or other works for thediversion, carriage, retention or storage of waters may procure the watersto which they are entitled, to be carried, stored and distributed from andthrough like works of any other proprietor upon such terms as may be agreedupon between them without in any manner impairing or affecting their rightof priority in respect of such waters: Provided, however, That therebythe waters supplied to any consumer be not diminished.
