Article 4.--MARKS AND BRANDS

      47-429.   Moneys received from sale of branded stray livestock.All moneys received from the sale of branded stray livestockshall be paid to the state livestock commissioner, regardlessof the provisions of article 2 of chapter 47 of the KansasStatutes Annotated and acts amendatory thereto, or any other provision of law relating to thedisposition of the moneys received from the sale of brandedstray animals. The commissioner or the commissioner'sdeputies are hereby authorized and directed to receive and receipt for allmoneys received from the sale of branded stray livestock andshall pay the same to thestate treasurer, and the state treasurer shall credit the amount so paidto the livestock brand fee fund.
