47-838. Severability.If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section or part of the Kansasveterinary practice act or theapplication thereof to any person or circumstances shall for any reason beadjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional orinvalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainderthereof, and the application thereof to other persons or circumstances, butshall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence or paragraph,section or part thereof involved in the controversy, in which such judgmentshall have been rendered and to the person or circumstances involved. It ishereby declared to be the legislative intent that this act would have beenenacted had such unconstitutional or invalid provisions not been included.
