48-1624. Inspection agreements; training programs.(a) The secretary is authorized to enter into an agreementor agreements with the United States nuclear regulatory commission pursuantto section 274(c) of the atomic energy act of 1954, as amended, otherfederal agencies, as authorized by law, other states or interstateagencies, whereby this state will perform on a cooperative basis with thecommission, other federal governmental agencies, other state or interstateagencies, inspections or other functions relating to control of sources of radiation.
(b) The secretary may institute training programs for the purpose ofqualifying personnel to carry out the provisions of this act, and may makesuch personnel available for participation in any program or programs ofthe federal government, other states or interstate agencies in furtheranceof the purposes of this act.
