Article 6a.--REQUIREMENTS FOR SALE OF CIGARETTES

      50-6a21.   Controlling law; severability.If a court of competent jurisdiction finds that theprovisions of K.S.A. 50-6a01 through 50-6a03, and amendments thereto, conflictwith and cannot be reconciled with any other provisions of this act, then suchprovisions of K.S.A. 50-6a01 through 50-6a03, and amendments thereto, shallcontrol. If any provision of this act causes K.S.A. 50-6a01 through 50-6a03,and amendments thereto, to no longer constitute a qualifying or model statuteas those terms are defined in the master settlement agreement, then thatportion of this act shall not be valid. If any provision of this act is for anyreason held to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, such decision shallnot affect the validity of the remaining portions of this act or any partthereof.
