      55-108.   Setting fire to escaping gas; interference with wells.It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to set fire to anygas escaping from wells, broken or leaking mains, pipes, valves or otherappliances used by any person, company or corporation in conveying gas, orto interfere in any manner with the wells, machinery or property of anyperson, company or corporation engaged in drilling for natural gas or infurnishing the same, unless employed by or acting under the authority ordirection of such person, company or corporation engaged in so furnishinggas.
