      55-504.   Supervision and control by state commission; rules; rates inexcess of statutory provisions, when.The corporation commission shall have the general supervision andcontrol over all such persons, firms, associations or corporations in theperformance of said business, and shall prescribe reasonable rules for theconduct thereof, which rules, when prescribed and delivered in writing toany such person, firm, association, or corporation shall be printed andposted in a convenient, accessible and conspicuous place at each office,station or place of business where such oil is received or delivered. Thecorporation commission is hereby authorized to permit rates, in excess ofthose provided for in K.S.A. 55-503 uponapplication as provided for in chapter 66 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated,if said commission shall first find that such rates are unjust,unreasonable or inadequate.
