Article 5.--TRANSPORTATION AND SALE OF OILS AND LIQUID FUELS

      55-507.   Liquid-fuel carrier's license; certificates for vehicles.No person shall transport any liquid fuels or motor fuelsfromany refinery, place of manufacture or production, or pipeline terminal,or across the state line, in quantities of 120 gallons or more over anyof the public highways of this state without having first secured fromthe director of taxation, and at the time holding, a valid, unrevokedliquid-fuels carrier's license and a certificatethereof for each vehicle in which suchperson transports such fuels, nor shall any person transport any liquidfuel or motor fuels in quantities of 3,500 gallons or more overany of the public highways of this state from any point of origin otherthan a refinery, place of production or manufacture or pipelineterminal without having first secured from the director of taxation, andat the time holding a valid, unrevoked certificate of aliquid-fuels carrier's licensefor each vehicle in which such person transports such fuels. This sectionshall not apply to the transportation by any consumer in theconsumer's own vehicle of liquid fuels exclusively for such consumer'sown use from the place of purchase to the place where it is to beconsumed by such consumer.
