Article 2.--LIENS ON PERSONAL PROPERTY

      58-218.   Liens for seeding and baling broomcorn and baling hay.Any person operating a broomcorn seeder and baler, or hay baler, orengaged in the business of seeding and baling broomcorn or baling hay forothers, who shall, under contract with the owners of any broomcorn or hay,or with the mortgagee thereof, seed or bale such broomcorn or hay, shall beentitled to a lien thereon from the date of such seeding and baling tosecure the payment of any amount due for seeding or baling from and afterthe date of such seeding or baling. Such lien shall be preferred to that ofany prior security interest or encumbrance.
