      58-222.   Lien for work, labor or materials supplied by cleaningestablishments; foreclosure; notice before sale; inapplicable to storedproperty.Any person doing any cleaning, pressing, glazing, washing, alteration,repair, or furnishing any materials or supplies for or upon any garment,clothing, wearing apparel, or household goods, shall have a lien thereonfor the reasonable value of the unpaid work, labor or material and suppliesused, which said lien may be foreclosed in the manner provided by this act.Any garment, clothing, wearing apparel, or household goods remaining in thepossession of a person, firm, partnership, or corporation, on whichcleaning, pressing, glazing, or washing has been done or upon whichalterations or repairs have been made, or on which materials or supplieshave been used or furnished, for a period of ninety (90) days or more mayafter said cleaning, pressing, glazing or washing has been done or saidalterations or repairs have been made or said materials or supplies havebeen used or furnished be sold to pay the reasonable or agreed charges andthe cost of notifying the owner or owners: Provided, however, That theperson, firm, partnership, or corporation to whom such charges are payableand owing shall first notify the owner or owners of the time and place ofsuch sale: Provided further, That property that is to be placed instorage after any of the services or labors mentioned herein, shall not beaffected by the provisions of this section.
