      60-1622.   Support enforcement proceeding; failure tocomply; penalties.(a) If the court in any support enforcement proceeding findsthat an obligor has failed to comply with an outstanding warrant or subpoenaissued by a court of competent jurisdiction of this state or any other stateand such obligor has or may have an occupational, professional or driver'slicense, the courtmay impose such sanctions under this section as the court deems appropriateuntil the person has complied with the warrant or subpoena. As used in thissection, "support enforcement proceeding" means any civil proceeding to:

      (1)   Establish paternity; or

      (2)   establish, modify or enforce the duty toprovide child support or maintenance.

      (b)   If the obligor is or may be authorized to practice a profession by alicensing body as defined in K.S.A. 74-146 and amendments thereto,the court may order that a notice pursuant to K.S.A. 74-147 andamendments thereto be served on the licensing body. If the obligor is or maybea licensed attorney, the court may file a complaint with the disciplinaryadministrator of the Kansas supreme court or with the appropriate official oragency of any state in which the obligor may be licensed.

      (c)   The court may restrict the obligor's driving privileges as provided inK.S.A. 2005 Supp. 8-292 and amendments thereto.
