65-1907. Inspectors, duties and training; studentrequirements.The chairperson, with the approval of the board, shallemploy inspectors toinspect schools, salons and clinics and theinspectors shall perform all of theinspection duties of the board, as required by this act,rules and regulations of the board and sanitationstandards adopted by the secretary of health andenvironment pursuant to K.S.A. 65-1,148 and amendments thereto. The board shall provide training to theinspectors to enable the inspectors to provide current information to school,salon and clinic personnel regarding requirements of applicable statutes andregulations. It shall be the duty ofthe board todetermine the number ofhours and practice work required of students in each subject ofcosmetology, nail technology, esthetics and electrologytaught in a licensed school.
