65-2405. Appointment of state registrar; qualifications; compensation. The secretary shall appoint a state registrar of vital statistics whoshall be qualified under Kansas civil service law and the state registrarshall be certified to the secretary of state. His compensation will befixed in accordance with the salary schedules established as authorized bythe Kansas civil service act and acts amendatory thereof and supplementalthereto.
