Article 28.--HEALING ARTS

      65-2840c.   Review committees; establishment; composition;expenses.Review committees shall be established and appointed by thestate board of healing arts for each branch of the healing arts asnecessary to advise the board in carrying out the provisionsof this act. Each review committeeshall be composed of three members and designated alternates.Each of the members and their designatedalternates shall serve for a period of two years, all of whom shall belicensed by the boardto practice the branch of the healing arts for which the review committee isestablished.Members of the state board of healing arts shall not be eligibleto act as members of the review committee. Members may be selected fromnames submitted by the state professional association for the branch ofhealing arts involved. Themembers of such review committees attending meetings ofany review committeesshall be paid compensation, subsistence allowances, mileage and expenses asprovided by K.S.A. 75-3223 and amendments thereto.
