Article 28.--HEALING ARTS

      65-2870.   Persons deemed engaged in practice of osteopathy.For the purpose of this act the following persons shall be deemed to be engagedin the practice of osteopathy or to be osteopathic physicians and surgeons:

      (a)   Persons who publicly profess to be osteopathic physicians, or publiclyprofess to assume the duties incident to the practice of osteopathy, asheretofore interpreted by the supreme court of this state, shall be deemedto be engaged in the practice of osteopathy.

      (b)   Osteopathic physicians and surgeons shall mean and include those personswho receive a license to practice medicine and surgery pursuant to the provisionsof this act.
