      65-2898.   Immunity from liability in civil actions for reporting, communicatingand investigating certain information concerning alleged malpractice incidentsand other information; conditions.(a) No person reporting to the state board of healing arts in good faithany information such person may have relating toalleged incidents of malpractice, or the qualifications, fitness orcharacter of, or disciplinary action taken against, a person licensed,registered or certified by the board shall besubject to a civil action for damages as a result of reporting suchinformation.

      (b)   Any state, regional or local association composed of personslicensed to practice a branch of the healing arts and the individualmembers of any committee thereof, which in good faith investigates orcommunicates information pertaining to the alleged incidents ofmalpractice, or the qualifications, fitness or character of, or disciplinaryaction taken against, any licensee, registrant or certificate holderto the state board of healingarts or to any committee oragent thereof, shall be immune from liability in any civil action, thatis based upon such investigation or transmittal of information if theinvestigation and communication was made in good faith and did notrepresent as true any matter not reasonably believed to be true.
