65-471. Same; agreements for services; employment of health care providersand other persons; compensation for services performed by health careprovider.(a) Upon such conditions and terms as is deemed appropriate bythe governing body of any member of a rural health network, a member of arural health network or the rural health network may enter into agreements withany other person or entity to perform any service, including but not limited toservices for provision of primary risk management and peer review services.
(b) Anycritical access hospital or ruralhealth network mayemploy any health care provider to provide patient care or other services andmay employ such other persons as necessary to carry out the function of therural health network. The contract may allow for the health care provider or amember of the rural health network to seek direct compensation from thepatient, the patient's representative or a third party payor for the servicesperformed by the health care provider.
