Article 61.--EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES

      65-6105.   Emergency medical services board successor to certain powers,duties and functions of university of Kansas school of medicine;disposition of records and fee moneys; conflict resolved by governor.(a) Except as provided by this act, the emergency medical services boardestablished by K.S.A. 65-6102 shall be the successor to thepowers, duties and functions of the University of Kansas school of medicinerelating to (1) approval of emergency medical services training and (2)emergency medical training program approvals in which the same were vestedprior to the effective date of this act.

      (b)   The emergency medical services board shall succeed to all recordswhich were used for or pertain to the performance of the powers, duties andfunctions transferred to the board pursuant to subsection (a). Anyconflict as to the proper disposition of records arising under this sectionshall be resolved by the governor, whose decision shall be final.

      (c)   The board shall succeed to the unexpended balance of any fee fundmoney relating to the powers, duties and functions transferred to the boardpursuant to subsection (a). Any conflict as to the proper disposition ofsuch money shall be resolved by the governor, whose decision shall be final.
