Article 61.--EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES

      65-6109.   Rights saved in legal actions and proceedings.No suit, action or other proceeding, judicial or administrative, lawfullycommenced, or which could have been commenced, by or against the bureau ofemergency medical services abolished by this act, or by or against anyofficer or employee of such bureau in the official capacity of such officeror employee or in relation to the discharge of official duties of suchofficer or employee, shall abate by reason of the governmentalreorganization effected under the provisions of this act. The court mayallow any such suit, action or other proceeding to be maintained by oragainst the successor of such state agency or any officer or employee affected.
